RESPITE CARE
Free respite care for children with autism is provided by professionally trained staff from NIA Comprehensive Center for Developmental Disabilities. However, ADVANCE RESERVATIONS are required and an intake form must be completed to meet State of Illinois requirements.
We regret that typically-developing siblings CAN NOT be accommodated (but all kids are welcome to come to the adult meeting as long as they are supervised). These rules are necessary due to the large demand for the free respite care service. We limit respite care size to 20 kids to ensure safety and personalized care.
Please call Allonda McCaster of NIA at (312) 949-1808 by Thursday, April 14 to reserve a space for your child.
