CAC had a blast of a time at the 87th Annual Parade Bud Billiken.

  • July 17, 2016 Hats Off for Autism & July 23, 2016 Disability Parade

  • CAC proudly supported “Hats Off for Autism”, an event presented by The Answers Inc. and Special Needs M.O.M. organizations. CAC President, Kim Johnson-Evans was the keynote speaker.

  • The following week, CAC Board and fellow members participated in the 2016 Disability Parade, held in downtown Chicago.

July 9, 2016 Annual Picnic and Water Park Party

  • Our Annual Picnic and Water Park Party was a huge success, as we had over 170 people at the event.

  

SILVER STALLION RANCH FIELD TRIP 

Cool temperatures could not dampen the enthusiasm of 63 CAC family members and friends as they enjoyed hay rides, airbrush tattoos, the Southern Comfort ride, marshmallow toasting, the petting zoo, and pony and horse riding on Sunday, October 5th.  It was difficult to tell who was having the most fun - the children or the adults.  The Silver Stallion Ranch, also known as the Black Cowboy Ranch, is owned by Stanley and Donna Robinson and has been bringing a little bit of cowboy to inner city families for twenty-two years. Thanks to the Robinsons for hosting us.
